Airlie Beach Race Week started its life as a warm up event for Hamilton Island Race Week but has become established as a top tier series in its own right. Long races in great winds and tricky tides make this a challenging series. The event includes the Festival of Sailing with entertainment from top Aussie acts, great food and more. There are roughly 10,000 revelers at the Festival and 200 yachts in the regatta.
