Combine the thrill of Big Boat sailing with hands on instruction, take in the sights of Port Phillip Bay then enjoy an exclusive Dine and Bathe package at Peninsula Hot Springs in the magical Food Bowl Glasshouse. Sleep on board before sailing back to Melbourne.
Take the helm and your sailing skills to the next level with qualified instructors aboard our luxury 40-foot ‘performance’ yachts and enjoy the delights of the Hot Springs and Mornington Peninsula on this two-day adventure.
No sailing experience necessary. All sailing gear, sail training, and on yacht accommodation are provided.
After coming aboard at 8.30am we Depart Docklands and cruise through the Port of Melbourne, under the West Gate Bridge into Port Phillip Bay where you will discover Australia’s largest sheltered waterway and the wonderful world of sailing.
Learn the basics of sailing, trim the sails and take a turn at the helm as you head towards the Mornington Peninsula. This is the start of your sailing adventures!
Take in the bayside scenery, spot seals, dolphins and even fairy penguins on the way.
After the 5 hours sail, we arrive at the picturesque Blairgowrie Yacht Club, our home for the night where we will berth and take in the stunning Peninsula Coastal views.
We then transfer to the famous Peninsula Hot Springs where you will immerse yourself in the geothermal waters of the world-renowned Peninsula Hot Springs, stunning landscapes and seasonal menu offerings of local food and wine from the Mornington Peninsula.
After dinner (and maybe another bathe), we are transferred back to our yacht for a good night’s sleep in your cosy double cabin.
Enjoy a morning walk along the beach before breakfast and then set sail for Melbourne at 9:00am.
We sail to the iconic Sandringham Yacht Club, where you can choose to have lunch on board or we have arranged guest access to the members lounge if you choose to purchase lunch and tour the club
We then we set sail for Docklands, arriving around 5pm.
A video of your of your sailing/Hot Springs adventure will be provided for you to share your experience.
