The stunning beauty of the Prom can only really be appreciated from the sea. Enjoy wonderful views as you sail down the coast and around the southern-most tip of the Australian mainland.
Try overnight sailing in the safety of a coastal passage. Anchor in Refuge Cove, sail past Skull Rock and explore Wilsons Promontory. Our new format includes 2 nights at the Prom with plenty of time to hike and sail the area.
Take as an experience, mile builder or earn the IYT Bareboat Skipper Certificate (extra cost).
Participants share in the cooking and sailing (depending on your experience).

Itinerary
Step aboard SV Persephone at 1700 on day 1, meet your fellow crew members and grab dinner at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club. Next morning depart Geelong, turn left at the heads and sail for San Remo. Leaving early day 3 we sail along the coast for Wilsons Promontory and the delightful Refuge Cove. Overnight at Refuge Cove and spend the next day enjoying the Prom, walking or sailing to nearby bays. Overnight at Refuge Cove, sail round to Oberon Bay via Skull Rock for some more time ashore. At around 6pm we depart for an overnight sail back to Geelong arriving the following afternoon.
Requirements
Participants should have completed the International Crew or equivalent course.
You need to have your own safety and wet weather gear to a coastal standard.
While we expect to return on time, the exact return date may be impacted by the weather.

Cost:
$2,250 (twin share v-berth)
$2,490 (twin share main cabin, or saloon)
$2,650 (sea berth)
$3,500 (single v-berth cabin)
Inclusions:
Accommodation with meals , fuel and consumables, safety equipment.
Qualifications:
300 sea miles logged.
Option of IYT Bareboat Skipper Practical ($200 extra to cover our certification costs).
