The Tasmania trip was fantastic! Andrew is an exceptional skipper and an amazing individual. He helped to create a safe and enthusiastic environment for the trip. The menu plan and food were very very good. The other crew members were great and made for a good team and enjoyable environment. It was a pleasure to sail with Simon also, as he has a very positive and jovial nature. SV Persephone was a pleasure to sail on and I appreciate the work that he has put into her. The minor engine troubles that we had were a positive part of the experience, as that is all part of sailing.
The overall route that we did was really great. We got to see some amazing places.
The experiences that we had on the water and on land will be lasting memories for me. Thank you for putting together such an amazing plan including route, skipper, and vessel. It was all well thought out and professional. I hope that I can join in on another trip in the future.

Yes you were right, Andrew was a fantastic skipper! Very skilled, a great teacher and a great guy to spend time with. Actually everyone on board were terrific company. I really feel I learned soooo much … not only in technical terms i.e. navigation and anchoring etc. … but also in the real practicalities of sailing. Changing plans depending on weather forecast .. checking out potential anchorage sites properly… navigating through shallows … dealing with fast currents.. and problem solving re engine failure .. even the engine problems we had were not enough to seriously detract from the overall trip AND this provided a real life situation for us to work around. I would (and have already) recommend your company to others.
Accommodation Options
Semi-Private Sea Berth (1 person)
Cosy bunk with privacy curtain, tucked starboard-aft. About the size of a twin bed. Comfortable and secure at sea.
V-Berth Cabin (1–2 people)
Private cabin in the bow with door, hatch, and storage (photo below). Bed tapers from full-size aft to narrower forward. Suits a solo traveller or smaller couple.
Master Cabin (2 people)
Fully private cabin with queen-sized bed. Twin-share basis for two people. Best comfort and space on board.
Saloon Berth (1 person)
Narrow single berth in the communal saloon, with shelf storage. Least private option — economical option for easy sleepers.
