Join the Boomer Racing Team for a fun, social evening and discover the joy of social racing. Relaxing on the water is the best way to beat the mid-week blues, leave work behind and really unwind.
Twilight sailing is a gentle introduction to racing with no spinnaker to worry about and a more relaxed vibe. It is also a great way to improve your sailing skills, make new friends and enjoy the water. Everyone on board has a meaningful role and will get to learn new roles and hone your skills. No experience necessary – we can quickly bring you up to speed.
Twilight racing is also a great way for our students to stay in touch and continue their sailing journey.
We depart Docklands at 5pm so you can come down after work, or you can hop on board at Williamstown at 5:45pm. Each race goes for around 70 minutes. After the race we enjoy refreshments as we motor up the river. Once a month we stay for dinner at the club before winding our way up the river to Docklands. And if we win – the champagne will flow (once we’re safely docked of course!)
11 races available (dates on the right). You can pay as little as $50 buying a ‘6-Race Voucher’ for $300 (which can be shared), or pay as you go for just $90 a race. Buy your ‘6-Race Voucher’ then come back and book your twilight race(s), or just book your one-off race
