An amazing 3.5 hour stand-alone experience or part of the accredited International Crew Certificate. Sailing at night is a surreal experience as you rely on different senses, steering by feel and enjoying the eerie quiet.
Start times vary with the seasons
At night the River and Bay light really light up, providing a beautiful, complex and challenging sailing context. Recognise the light signatures of important navigation lights and use of transits. Prepare the yacht for night sailing and use the correct lights for each mode (steaming, sailing etc.).
